REV Robots

Taught by our outstanding robotics instructor presenting at SIGGRAPH this year at the L.A. Convention Center, this class is a must!! Students learn the tools to become the engineer of tomorrow!! Students use team work, engineering concepts, and even some C++programming to build and control robots. From simple circuitry and code to more advanced tasks with Lego Mindstorms, students will use their creativity and imagination to put their building skills to the test!

Lego Mindstorm EV3s: (Pic of students with EV3s) Students build and program Lego Mindstorm EV3s, putting their robots through a unique set of challenges using infrared, motors, lights, and sounds. They then take their robots to the limits with our near-end of week battle in our battle bots rink!! Winner take all!!!

Next, students learn to light up the world with Arduinos!! Yes, students learn to use Arduino boards to create fun patterns with LED lights and even use motors!! Arduino is what is commonly taught in college in robotics engineering programs.

Students enjoy 2 outside breaks with highly supervised and highly fun outdoor activities in the park across the street. Bring your own lunch. Snacks and drinks provided.
